Moon Patrol. I would spend hours playing this game.

another favorite of mine

Galaca. I think there was a Galixica as well that looked the same.

Galaca is awesome. It's something you can just pick up and start playing... and play... and play.

1. Dragons Lair (my mother always said she hated the game)

2. Space Ace

3. Cliff Hanger (not to be confused with the movie)

4. Kangaroo

5. Skee Ball (ok, so it's not an "arcade game", but I felt it deserved to be mentioned)

There all good .... and now in this high tech age we mess with satellites... (Yes I pirate) anyone remember the TRICK  to GALAGA, I DO....:) all the 80 arcade games rule.  I think personally that todays video games SUCK but I am also into the old pinball machines as well  (royal flush, pinbot, highspeed...etc)

Merry Christmas & Happy New Year

I have to agree, my all-time fav.  I especially like the 'pac-man plus' version with the disappearing screen and whacky ghost behavior!

I recently found a pc version of freebie/abandonware pac-man game adaption similar to it ---> Champ Pacem

Ghosts & Goblins and Simons Quest kept me interested.

Mr. Do on the colecovision.

Has to be Pac Man. I spent untold hours and a small fortune at the Chuck E. Cheese by my house and that place had at least 30 coin-op games. Nearly half of which were Pac Man, and always being played. Even years after the initial Pac Man mania died down.

My personal favorites were Popeye (catching hearts from Olive and fighting Bluto and Sea Hag), Mr. Do, Dig Dug, and Tron.

Gunsmoke hasn't been mentioned but I spent hours on this arcade game in the 80's

I never did much homework after school because of it!
