The kid gets a little too cocky and the Shadow Man takes care of those school bullies, but after that, the kid's sittin' on the swings and the Shadow Man gets him.  The last line was something like "why are you doing this?"  And the Shadow Man says "I am not the only Shadow Man." The New Twilight Zone only lasted two years (85 and 86, I think), but there were some other good stories.
