Hi all! Help me please?! I want the "Jack and the Beanstalk" cartoon on DVD. Someone claimed to have bought it. From what site? I also would like the song sent to my email address as well: theresa1r@yahoo.com I bought the cartoon on VHS, but would be willing to pay money for the DVD version. I am so glad to know I am not the only one who has been haunted by this cartoon from my past! |

Castle in the Sky sounds familiar. Is it the same movie? `Betty :-)

| If I recall, the film was released by a couple of different distributers in different years, but I don't recall ever seeing it under a different name.

I was wondering if this film was also known as Castle in the Sky? Because the ones I look up online seem to be made in 1986 or so.

| I emailed my VHS extracted copy to you at the email address you listed. I would love it the person who got the DVD copy of the movie would extract the song, I'm sure it would be of better quality.

Hi! Wow. I've been looking and looking for the song "no-one's happier than I" for years and YEARS! I was born in the 80s but a fair few things stuck in my head. This was one of them. And I think the title of this thread is entirely appropiate, because you really do get haunted by it. It comes up for no apparent reason. I was wondering, being a newbie and all, whether anyone who has a copy of the songs that were avaliable from it would be able to send them to me? I know it's a bit much to ask considering that I am brand new on this forum, but this cartoon seems to bring back an awful lot of nostalgic memories for me, and I want to sort of recreate those memories. my email address (for mp3 storage) is jess_mp3@yahoo.com Please if you can help me that would be great!

| Folks, I just found out today about a movie that has been driving me nuts! I'm in my late 40s now and have also been haunted by the movie I only remember seeing in Wausau, Wisconisn, while on leave in the Navy. No I know of had ever heard of it and online searching was unsuccessful until tonight and then I find lots of things once I could find the creator of this movie. Everyone was right, this movie was very stirring and I know it sounds nuts but I loved it! I have been trying for years to obtain a copy and now that I know it exists will not be happy until I can find a copy in English. Glad you all found it, but it sure had been keeping me wondering if I had dreamed it all. *LOL* Great Flick!

Thank you bfollett, I did get it this time. I really, really appreciate it. And it's pretty decent quality! At least the singing is very understandable. Actually, when I heard it.. I somehow didn't remember it to be like I thought it was. It felt really strange. Maybe I'll get to watch the movie again someday... Again, thank you so much.

Wow, thank you so much for replying and sending the song to me. Unfortunately no, I didn't recieve it. I'm sorry, I'm using a free email account that isn't very reliable either. I should have thought of this earlier, but this is my other account: 802997597@uprm.edu This one is much better. Please resend it to this account, when you can. Thank you so very much. I really appreciate it. ^_^

Hey, I've been haunted by this movie for several years now as well. I can't remember how old I was when I first watched it, but it's probably been almost 20 years. Just today I was looking info on it for the first time. I don't remember much about the movie, but I know there was something about the music that stayed in my head all these years. There was something really haunting about it all and I want to watch it again so very badly. I remember being very sad that the princess and Jack didn't stay together in the end... it made me so sad I would cry. Wow, it feels wierd just typing this up. So much is my fascination for this movie that I've made an account in this site just so I could write this. This is my first post. Mikecoon, I beseech you... if you have the soundtrack of that movie in your drive, -please- share it with me. My email is franistheman@hotmail.com. If you want to transfer in any other way, let me know. Thank you so very much. And bfollett, if you read this, I would like to hear your 'mixed' version of the ending song. I remember that part with the giant falling stuck in my head too... Thank you. ^.^
