A little something about Falco
Falco was born on February 19, 1957 in Vienna (Wien) Austria as.Johann Hölzel. His parents were divorced when he was young, so he was raised by his mother and grandmother. At the age of 16 Falco learned the bass guitar, and studied in the Vienna Music Conservatory. He then began to start playing and creating his own music. His first album was released under the title Einzelhaft, and he had a huge hit with Ganz Wien! He then recorded Der Kommisar, a huge hit in Europe, and was remade by a band in the 80's in the USA. Then with the release of Falco 3, his biggest hit ever was released. Rock Me Amedeus topped the charts in Europe and the US, and became his most well known hit, and has been spoofed by the Simpsons, The Bloodhound Gang, and more.
