Help Getting Java Games to Run (These JAVA games seem to work best in the Firefox web browser.)
Ensure you have the free Java runtime system installed on your computer. Please download this from http://www.JAVA.com. Unfortuanely, the Iphone and Ipad do not support Java games.
If you are receiving a java security warning prompt like
Don't worry. Our Java games are 100% safe and virus free. The prompt is showing one that the games should be run from Location: http://www.tripletsandus.com/80s/80s_games/. As long as you play these games from our domain all is safe. Click Run to play the game. More information about this security prompt can be found here.
If you are receiving a java security error like:
Don't worry. I can show you how to get our games safely running. Continue to step 4.
If you recently upgraded your computer's Java to version 7 or higher you might of noticed our Java games do not work. Java now requires a certificate for an online application to function. Unfortunately small sites like mine can not afford the thousands of dollars Java wants for their certificates. Don't worry, I can show you how to get them working again; safely.
Open your computer's Control Panel and click on the Java Icon.
First, ensure 'Enable Java content in the browser' is checked.
You should be able to add http://www.tripletsandus.com (note the entire URL address) to the Exception Site List. This is the preferred way to remove the error.
Or, you can lower the Security Level slider to medium.
Either approach will get your favorite online games working again.
If for some some reason you do not have an Exceptions List or Security Slider go here for the fix.
